QR code menu + built-in generator
A restaurant QR menu is a scannable code that opens the current digital menu in the guest’s web browser. With IAMenu, the QR points to a live menu, so restaurants can update dishes, prices and availability without printing a new code.
The QR menu and QR generator are one workflow on this page. Table ordering is a separate capability: scanning to read does not automatically mean the guest can place or pay for an order.
How it works
The useful part is not the square image alone—it is the maintained menu behind it.
Review restaurant information, dishes, prices, images, languages and allergen labels.
Create the menu QR and choose the available presentation or table-sign options.
Download and print the approved asset for tables, counters, windows or room-service material.
Change the menu in IAMenu; the existing QR continues to open the current version.
A QR code generator is included, but the live menu behind the code is what makes it operational.
Guests open the menu without installing an app or creating an account.
Publish edits to dishes, prices and availability while keeping the same QR destination.
Offer enabled menu languages and let the guest switch when translations are available.
Use supported colors, logo and table-sign designs, with contrast guidance for scan reliability.
Create printable menu output from the same maintained menu when a physical format is needed.
Review available menu scan and usage data according to the active plan.
Create or import the menu, review the customer view, generate the QR in IAMenu, download the approved asset and place it where guests can scan it.
No. The guest uses the phone camera or built-in QR scanner and the menu opens in a standard web browser.
No. The QR opens a stable menu URL. Updating the linked menu changes what guests see without changing the printed code.
IAMenu has no free plan. QR menu tools can be evaluated during the 14-day Professional trial, and plan capabilities are listed on the pricing page.
They can when the restaurant has enabled and configured an eligible QR ordering mode. Menu viewing itself remains separate and does not automatically send an order.
Build or import the menu, review the live customer view, and generate the QR only when the restaurant is ready to publish.
